Grund: 2 Cyantisten! :)

Hier der komplette Chatlog ...

(02/22 00:30:05) Legacy laughs
(02/22 00:30:05) Budgie2: Hehehe
(02/22 00:30:17) JStaub: So where are you all from?
(02/22 00:30:18) Michael: Feels like it's story time.
(02/22 00:30:31) Whilyam: Look at him, sitting there... I wonder if we should put him up in a zoo?
(02/22 00:30:36) Michael: I'm in Southern California.
(02/22 00:30:38) JStaub: :)
(02/22 00:30:40) Ural: wisconsin
(02/22 00:30:41) Legacy: Riven is being quite the rebel...
(02/22 00:30:43) Budgie2: South texas
(02/22 00:30:48) Whilyam: Feed the Cyanist
(02/22 00:30:51) GeorgeGRL: I'm from Germany
(02/22 00:30:52) JStaub: Where in Southern Cal?
(02/22 00:31:06) Axel: I'm from Germany
(02/22 00:31:08) JStaub: I don't know how many,...lots!
(02/22 00:31:11) Michael: Temecula. Just north of San Diego county
(02/22 00:31:18) L'orr: Cyanist?...i thought they were Cyantists...here to study D'ni
(02/22 00:31:22) Rivenorth: i got one leftover red up at auditorium
(02/22 00:31:24) JStaub: Ah, I was in San Diego just last week! In LaJolla
(02/22 00:31:27) Legacy: just joined a week ago
(02/22 00:31:47) Michael: La Jolla's a beautiful place.
(02/22 00:31:47) JStaub: I probably drove past your house :)
(02/22 00:31:54) Budgie2: I got relatives there
(02/22 00:31:58) Michael: Did you take the 15?
(02/22 00:32:12) Michael: If so you did almost drive by my house.
(02/22 00:32:13) JStaub: No, I was back and forth between San Diego and Santa Barbara for film festival stuff...took 101 mainly
(02/22 00:32:16) JStaub: and 405
(02/22 00:32:31) Legacy: Cyan should move everything to Salt Lake... I would give you free cookies ;)
(02/22 00:32:33) Michael: Ah. You were on the other side of the mountains from me.
(02/22 00:32:39) JStaub: Ah
(02/22 00:32:49) Legacy: ;)
(02/22 00:33:46) JStaub: No, I'm sure not...there were thousands and thousands of signees for Live
(02/22 00:33:54) JStaub: When is Mysterium?
(02/22 00:34:09) L'orr: speak...good boy
(02/22 00:34:22) JStaub: I would imagine I'll be here :)
(02/22 00:34:42) Whilyam: J, you were around during Live, correct?
(02/22 00:34:45) JStaub: yeah
(02/22 00:35:03) Whilyam: When did Cyan realize that Live was going down?
(02/22 00:35:05) JStaub: I've been here for more than 12 years now!
(02/22 00:35:24) Michael: Almost the beginning?
(02/22 00:35:49) JStaub: My first project for Cyan was called Color Spelunx, released just before Myst came out...
(02/22 00:36:23) Michael: Are there any plans to do a Myst series box set with all five games?
(02/22 00:36:32) JStaub: Then I came on full-time as Lead Artist and CG Production Designer for Riven...I lived (and worked) in Robyn's basement back then
(02/22 00:36:44) JStaub: That was "the art department" ;)
(02/22 00:36:55) Ural: wow
(02/22 00:37:01) JStaub: Re: Box Set - I dunno...haven't heard of any
(02/22 00:37:38) JStaub: Nah, Spokane is on the east side of Washington state...almost all the way to Idaho
(02/22 00:37:41) Michael: It'd be cool if something like that was made, especially if the older games were updated.
(02/22 00:38:00) Michael: I can't play Myst or Riven on my current computer anymore.
(02/22 00:38:42) Norfren: And Myst should be re-rendered
(02/22 00:38:49) Rivenorth: shorah Greydragon
(02/22 00:38:54) Legacy: *nearly dies*
(02/22 00:39:00) Legacy: I mean...shorah!
(02/22 00:39:00) JStaub: Hmmm. That stinks. I'm pretty sure there was a release fairly recently that had Myst and Riven updated for Win2k and XP
(02/22 00:39:29) Ural: hello GD!
(02/22 00:39:45) Greydragon: Greeters need greeters shirts..
(02/22 00:39:47) JStaub: Hey Greydragon! :)
(02/22 00:39:47) Norfren: Yeah- but the resolutions are the same as earlier
(02/22 00:39:49) Michael: Hi Greydragon
(02/22 00:39:49) Norfren: Hi GD
(02/22 00:39:50) JStaub: Re-rendering Myst would be a lot harder than it sounds ;)
(02/22 00:39:54) Greydragon: hey all
(02/22 00:39:55) GeorgeGRL: Hi Greydragon!
(02/22 00:40:10) Legacy: I'm just pretending to be a greeter ;)
(02/22 00:40:16) Axel: Shorah Greydragon
(02/22 00:40:16) Greydragon: Hey Josh
(02/22 00:40:17) Michael: How about real-Riven to go along with real Myst?
(02/22 00:40:18) JStaub: Yeah, that scares me MORE
(02/22 00:40:19) JStaub: :)
(02/22 00:40:39) JStaub: We always joke about realRiven...and then it makes my head hurt :)
(02/22 00:40:48) Budgie2: Yeah, realmyst and riven and all of them together thru V...sigh...
(02/22 00:41:05) JStaub: Yeah, I agree that would be pretty sweet
(02/22 00:41:15) Rivenorth: some more things in closet yes?
(02/22 00:41:17) Michael: I know it must be a lot of work. I'm no programmer so I don't really know what it takes.
(02/22 00:41:41) Greydragon: realriven.. hmmm
(02/22 00:41:51) JStaub: I'm not a programmer either...but I DO know what it takes...that's what makes my head hurt so bad! ;)
(02/22 00:41:58) JStaub: LOL
(02/22 00:42:02) Greydragon: Lol
(02/22 00:42:19) Legacy: that's why I pay money to play the games instead of making them
(02/22 00:42:24) JStaub: Unfortunately, it would require remaking Riven from scratch completely
(02/22 00:42:24) Michael: Well, maybe after a reborn Uru makes Cyan rich they can work on it. :)
(02/22 00:42:25) Legacy: ;P
(02/22 00:42:47) JStaub: That doesn't sound too fun to me...call me crazy ;)
(02/22 00:43:05) JStaub: That's an understatement if I've ever heard one :)
(02/22 00:43:17) Legacy laughs
(02/22 00:44:00) Greydragon: i say we just make some sweet ages
(02/22 00:44:02) Michael: Well, thank you for all your hard work so far on everything from Cyan.
(02/22 00:44:17) JStaub: So Greydragon, do you come bearing gifts or what?
(02/22 00:44:18) Whilyam: Yeah, I vote for the sweet ages
(02/22 00:44:19) Greydragon: do i dare say- better then riven-
(02/22 00:44:21) JStaub: Thanks Michael :)
(02/22 00:44:37) Toria: shorah Paul
(02/22 00:44:40) Legacy: (this has to be the best "stare at a cyanist day" ever!)
(02/22 00:44:47) Greydragon: Gifts??
(02/22 00:44:49) JStaub: Yeah, it honestly is more fun working on new stuff than rebuilding old stuff
(02/22 00:44:57) Michael: Yeah, TWO Cyantists!
(02/22 00:45:02) Toria: Yeah, I'd imagine that to be true.
(02/22 00:45:04) JStaub: Oh, I thought you were yapping about greeters shirts :)
(02/22 00:45:10) Whilyam: I don't know where to stare
(02/22 00:45:22) Legacy: well, 3 if you count Moke who just left us
(02/22 00:45:30) Greydragon: ya .. i am waiting for their ki #s from the guildmaster
(02/22 00:45:36) JStaub: Ah, cool
(02/22 00:46:09) Greydragon: Moke left cause I had an urgent email.. haha then I came in.. hehe
(02/22 00:46:29) Legacy: how sneaky of you ;)
(02/22 00:46:30) JStaub: Kelm - You are always trying to get me to talk about new stuff! LOL! Each time you ask something, you re-word the question! LOL
(02/22 00:46:48) Whilyam: Sorry to reflect on the past, guys. But, I've always wanted to know: When you were working on Uru, did you have an end you wanted to get to?
(02/22 00:46:57) Michael: Persistence. Eventually you might break! :)
(02/22 00:47:03) Toria: you deserve some fun too I think GD
(02/22 00:47:08) Greydragon: LOL new stuff... well i am looking at apartments.. thats new
(02/22 00:47:09) L'orr: i think our GM is waiting to get basically every greeters KI # before submitting, almost got them all though i think
(02/22 00:47:13) JStaub: Seriously, there is stuff we'd like to work on, but we need more information regarding funding
(02/22 00:47:14) Legacy: hey Doctor!
(02/22 00:47:30) Greydragon: Yep.. funding..
(02/22 00:47:33) Toria: i have a question for you regarding the GZ bug..
(02/22 00:47:35) JStaub: Whilyam - If I told you, I'd have to kill you
(02/22 00:47:38) Legacy: and joey "almost master of tent climbing"
(02/22 00:47:51) Toria: Do you know if that is fixed yet with the creation of a new hood?
(02/22 00:47:55) Whilyam: So, it wasn't the end we saw in Myst V?
(02/22 00:48:17) JStaub: Mums the word on that one my friend...sorry :)
(02/22 00:48:28) Norfren: Heh... everything can be continued
(02/22 00:48:31) Michael: Myst 5 only ended the Myst series. Uru still lives.
(02/22 00:48:37) Whilyam: Oh, about the killing me. That's fine :P
(02/22 00:48:40) Greydragon: whats up VId?
(02/22 00:48:45) JStaub: LOL
(02/22 00:48:46) Joey Zoonishii: Wait.. what the..... Cyan people!
(02/22 00:48:48) Legacy: I get the feeling Cyan really doesn't have a plan Whil... they just make it up as they go along ;)
(02/22 00:49:09) Greydragon: Legacy- yep by the seat of our pants.. ha!!
(02/22 00:49:16) Legacy: I knew it!
(02/22 00:49:17) JStaub: Even THAT won't get me to talk Legacy ;)
(02/22 00:49:36) Joey Zoonishii: So... stuff's gonna happen?
(02/22 00:49:54) Greydragon: actually we have a plan.. we wish we could talk about the plan.. just can't .. yet..
(02/22 00:49:59) L'orr: remember....the Myst series was just a game based on a story and history.....but we'vea ctually found D'ni.....we can learn and do so much more....if only we get the funding :)
(02/22 00:50:13) L'orr: that is if i got my facts correct
(02/22 00:50:17) Michael: They Learned from RAWA.
(02/22 00:50:26) JStaub: Yeah, RAWA is the master :)
(02/22 00:50:28) Legacy: when are we going to see some of the DRC come back?
(02/22 00:50:39) Greydragon: i actually want more clarity.. but nothing is clear..
(02/22 00:50:49) Toria: i recall the post on UO where you nixed the idea that Neghilahn (or whatever the spelling is) would be in Myst V, and you started it with "gather around boys and girls and let Uncle GreyDragon tell you a story"
(02/22 00:50:51) Norfren: Try not to put more breaks into the old story line
(02/22 00:50:58) Legacy: and what is the significance of 3 1 4?
(02/22 00:51:15) Greydragon: its so dark in the cavern .. hard to see the future it is..
(02/22 00:51:18) Whilyam: What does this Wheely Engberg have to do with things?
(02/22 00:51:23) JStaub: Nice GD :)
(02/22 00:51:44) Michael: Got to get those algae glowing again.
(02/22 00:51:47) Whilyam: Shorten that to CYAN: Master
(02/22 00:51:51) Legacy: they never cease to confuse us with vague answers
(02/22 00:51:58) Greydragon: lol
(02/22 00:52:03) Joey Zoonishii: Can you at least tell us that Esher is a jerk? =)
(02/22 00:52:14) Greydragon: mine too.. lots of invite emails today
(02/22 00:52:33) JStaub: Esher...
(02/22 00:52:45) Michael: Esher?
(02/22 00:52:46) Toria: How many invites have been given out roughly?
(02/22 00:52:46) Budgie2: Passes out chocolate to everyone, as it cures all headaches
(02/22 00:52:53) Greydragon: Eshers robes are awesome
(02/22 00:52:54) Legacy: Esher wasn't very nice at all, he trapped me on Myst Island. *sniffle* You don't need a Cyanist to tell you that?
(02/22 00:53:01) L'orr: that's ok...i trried making JStaub a greeter by sending him half my greeter notes before I realized I had the wrong person selected
(02/22 00:53:04) JStaub: ...is not my best friend
(02/22 00:53:17) Whilyam starts to laugh
(02/22 00:53:19) JStaub: Heheh :)
(02/22 00:53:24) mars: I would be willing to pay if it meant new content, how many would agree
(02/22 00:53:39) Doctor Device: im not a big Esher fan either....but he has good taste in fashion
(02/22 00:53:48) Joey Zoonishii: It... kind of depends on how much money we're talkin' bout, mars...
(02/22 00:53:48) Michael: I theorized that the Bahro imprisoned Esher on Myst.
(02/22 00:53:49) JStaub: Yeah, he does have that
(02/22 00:54:02) L'orr: luckily i didn't give away my note of all the secret Cyantist Ki's :)
(02/22 00:54:12) Joey Zoonishii: Esher had hip threads, I'll grant...
(02/22 00:54:14) Legacy: I would prefer a large one-time fee than a monthly thing
(02/22 00:54:24) Legacy: fees give me headaches
(02/22 00:54:26) Michael: Oh you have that list too L'orr> :)
(02/22 00:54:28) JStaub: You should see Esher twirl...a sight to behold :)
(02/22 00:54:49) Whilyam: Provided the content is as constant as the cost, I have no problem with it.
(02/22 00:54:56) Michael: Lag's getting very laggy.
(02/22 00:54:57) Joey Zoonishii: Oh, here's a suggestion.... do you think we could ever get Gehn-style clothes down here?
(02/22 00:55:07) L'orr: yeah...guess one of the Cyantists dropped it during his last visit
(02/22 00:55:10) Budgie2: Sitting helps
(02/22 00:55:10) Joey Zoonishii: That man could dress, I tell ya... he had styles...
(02/22 00:55:24) JStaub: That would be cool (and laggy) ;)
(02/22 00:55:41) Greydragon: though it would be cool
(02/22 00:55:44) mars: noone bummer
(02/22 00:55:48) JStaub: Yeah, I'd love to be able to do clothing physical stuff too...maybe someday
(02/22 00:55:54) Paul: uru suggestion : buddy groups ..
(02/22 00:55:58) Legacy: Oooo ghens clothes were awsome! perhaps you could get them in womens' sizes too?
(02/22 00:56:26) Whilyam: We've got half the shard in here...
(02/22 00:56:36) JStaub: Kelm - ?
(02/22 00:56:38) Budgie2: Neat
(02/22 00:56:46) L'orr: what is hod capacity anywqay?
(02/22 00:56:47) Greydragon: so.. what i want to know.. what do you think the reason was that cyan set up this shard?
(02/22 00:56:47) Whilyam: Approx.
(02/22 00:57:04) Michael: Beta test, GD?
(02/22 00:57:05) JStaub: Now YOU'RE asking questions GD?
(02/22 00:57:10) Toria: i think to see the level of interest still left in the game.
(02/22 00:57:11) Paul: show case to potential investors
(02/22 00:57:17) Doctor Device: i would have thought it was so people could still play together
(02/22 00:57:17) Ivy: Greydragon.. to get the people together again
(02/22 00:57:19) Whilyam: Perhaps to release new content, or just as a place to post news without offending different shards?
(02/22 00:57:21) Joey Zoonishii: Cyan wanted us all to have good times.
(02/22 00:57:28) Greydragon: Josh.. thats they way you trick them.. i mean
(02/22 00:57:28) L'orr: I think they are trying to show it off to a potential funder....proving there is a fan base that will play it
(02/22 00:57:31) Paul: and to give us a nice place to get together
(02/22 00:57:34) Ivy: and see how many wanted to be here
(02/22 00:57:52) Doctor Device: but with the hints it seems like they want to try to bring back what Until Uru once was
(02/22 00:58:00) Joey Zoonishii: I think they just wanted to get Zandi's Cool Ranch Doritos...
(02/22 00:58:09) JStaub: Clever :)
(02/22 00:58:13) Whilyam: Mmm... D'nitos...
(02/22 00:58:19) Greydragon: Yes.. i will be at mysterium.. you'll get sick of me
(02/22 00:58:25) Whilyam starts to laugh
(02/22 00:58:38) Greydragon: I'll be the guy asking all the questons...
(02/22 00:58:46) L'orr: when is it again this year?
(02/22 00:58:48) JStaub: BTW, this isn't laggy at all...until you try to move
(02/22 00:58:53) Ivy: lol
(02/22 00:58:56) mars: Do we need a funder to keep playing UU?
(02/22 00:59:03) Michael: What's the airspeed of a cocoanut ladden swallow?
(02/22 00:59:03) Greydragon: that only i know the truth too
(02/22 00:59:19) Greydragon: July 28-30
(02/22 00:59:36) L'orr: dang...probably be out of the country then
(02/22 00:59:37) Greydragon: african or european ?
(02/22 00:59:46) vid: doh, crashed to the desk
(02/22 00:59:46) Ivy: hmm how much is airfae from UK??
(02/22 00:59:47) Michael: :)
(02/22 00:59:50) Doctor Device: out of curiosity, whats up with Teledahn? especially most of the power being on already
(02/22 01:00:07) Greydragon: ya.. that will change doctor..
(02/22 01:00:08) Michael: Teledahn is very buggy.
(02/22 01:00:19) Doctor Device: thats good to hear :-)
(02/22 01:00:23) Joey Zoonishii: For all it's worth, I only started Until Uru a few days ago... and it's been cool....
(02/22 01:00:55) Joey Zoonishii: And, like... gosh...
(02/22 01:01:00) Greydragon: but everyone who just started until uru had uru the single player game.. what makes you like it more?
(02/22 01:01:05) L'orr: seems some of the linking ink has run...causing the age to become slightly unstable...the Cyantists seem to have done a good job of correcting this to allow us to visit...usually....Cyantists are no true D'ni writeres you know
(02/22 01:01:14) Michael: Will Cyan be making ANY modifications to UU? Or will they implement their improvements in something else, behind the scenes?
(02/22 01:01:21) Ivy: Grey- it is meeting the people
(02/22 01:01:24) Joey Zoonishii: *Sigh*... when you play Complete Chronicles....
(02/22 01:01:31) Budgie2: Doing things here with friends
(02/22 01:01:32) Joey Zoonishii: It's so large and empty...
(02/22 01:01:38) JStaub: Whoa, lost visual...brb
(02/22 01:01:52) Joey Zoonishii: To know that there are other people out there... it's just amazing...
(02/22 01:02:10) L'orr: quick...he's trying to run..grab him before he gets his relto book open
(02/22 01:02:11) Doctor Device: yeah, its weird, back when i was first playing Riven i just started thinking it would be great to walk around here with someone else
(02/22 01:02:13) Michael: What I like about Uru is exploring new places. And that's even nicer with others.
(02/22 01:02:15) Budgie2: She's going down, Captain....
(02/22 01:02:29) Ivy: I have made real friends through Uru prologue and UU
(02/22 01:02:41) Joey Zoonishii: I mean, I was watching people try to climb up a tent in Ae'gura the other day... and there was something more fascinating about that then all the mushrooms in Teledahn...
(02/22 01:02:45) Greydragon: scotty give her more power
(02/22 01:03:00) Legacy: yeah, nobody I've talked to has heard of Uru...or Myst. But you come here and find out you're not alone
(02/22 01:03:07) L'orr: we need more D'nilithium crystals captain
(02/22 01:03:21) Greydragon: well i hope to see many of you at mysterium.. that would be awesome
(02/22 01:03:24) Roland of Gilead: nahhhhh
(02/22 01:03:27) Michael: Did Josh crash out?
(02/22 01:03:46) Michael: Chat's going by so fast.
(02/22 01:04:11) Toria: would be nice to show up there :)
(02/22 01:04:16) Legacy: or "You are You" ;)
(02/22 01:04:27) Joey Zoonishii: What do you guys do at Mysterium things?
(02/22 01:04:34) Joey Zoonishii: I've only just heard about them...
(02/22 01:04:45) L'orr: quick question is the /bug /petition commands active on this shard?...just had a great suggestion
(02/22 01:05:06) Greydragon: suggestions and bugs need to go to urusuggestions@cyan.com
(02/22 01:05:25) Michael: Help! I've lagged and can't get up!
(02/22 01:05:28) L'orr: awww...you're making me work for my suggestion to be heard
(02/22 01:05:52) Greydragon: just say it
(02/22 01:06:01) Greydragon: I have a note pad
(02/22 01:06:18) Legacy: well, I've gotta go. It was nice talking to everyone. (going to a disaster relief drill, woohoo I get to be covered in fake blood!
(02/22 01:06:21) Greydragon: new projects?
(02/22 01:06:28) Joey Zoonishii: See ya!
(02/22 01:06:34) Ivy: bye Legacy
(02/22 01:06:36) Joey Zoonishii waves
(02/22 01:06:36) Michael: See ya Legacy
(02/22 01:07:06) L'orr: the player list....i think it would be better alphabetized...alphabetize those close to you...then those further.....kinda annying with it changing order every few seconds if they/you walk around as it's based on distance per person currently
(02/22 01:07:26) Greydragon: kelm i dont know what josh is working on..
(02/22 01:08:00) Michael: Actually, the player list need not resort at all. Just move the ><.
(02/22 01:08:06) JStaub: Sorry, back now
(02/22 01:08:07) D'Lanor: shorah
(02/22 01:08:14) Joey Zoonishii: Yeah, the KI interface is a little clunky...
(02/22 01:08:15) Michael: Welcome back Josh
(02/22 01:08:28) JStaub: Made the mistake of Alt-Tabbing out to check an email...and when I got back...well, it wasn't pretty :)
(02/22 01:08:34) Toria: lol
(02/22 01:08:41) Joey Zoonishii: Gosh.
(02/22 01:08:58) Ivy: lol, wb
(02/22 01:09:05) Paul: usually for a balnk screen i press the windows key and click uru again restores it
(02/22 01:09:13) Joey Zoonishii: Oh, and you guys need to make some Bah'ros wander around...
(02/22 01:09:14) JStaub: Ah, good to know
(02/22 01:09:19) D'Lanor: never had problems with alt-tab
(02/22 01:09:20) Joey Zoonishii: They could wink at folks...
(02/22 01:09:53) Toria: i love the reaction a maintainer suit gets *evil laugh*
(02/22 01:09:59) Joey Zoonishii: And they could be, like.... knowing winks...
(02/22 01:10:15) Joey Zoonishii: Yeah, I kind of miss the maintainer's suit...
(02/22 01:10:31) Toria: it's easy actually, with two people
(02/22 01:10:41) Joey Zoonishii: Eh?
(02/22 01:10:54) JStaub: Does the Grsn wall work currently?
(02/22 01:10:54) Toria: First time was in Prologue with a French guy :)
(02/22 01:10:55) D'Lanor: alone as well
(02/22 01:10:56) Michael: I've crashed when linking back to Relto several times. That never happened on other shards.
(02/22 01:10:56) Toria: Lol
(02/22 01:10:58) JStaub: In UU?
(02/22 01:11:08) Toria: Yeah
(02/22 01:11:12) JStaub: Ah, okay
(02/22 01:11:13) Ivy: you tried it Toria?
(02/22 01:11:15) Toria: It's interesting to say the least. to not crash
(02/22 01:11:17) Paul: nope some times get stuck at the top and can't link out
(02/22 01:11:22) Doctor Device: say, you dont have to fix the fireflies in the nexus bug, do you? :-P
(02/22 01:11:29) Toria: i was in charge of testing for the first D'Olympics
(02/22 01:11:30) JStaub: That stinks
(02/22 01:11:38) Ivy: O-O
(02/22 01:11:39) Toria: And my test was the Wall
(02/22 01:11:40) JStaub: I personally like seeing the fireflies in there ;)
(02/22 01:11:51) Toria: And it sadly didn't work very well :(
(02/22 01:11:51) Joey Zoonishii: Err... I've got a permanent Star Fissure... that's kind of neat, too...
(02/22 01:12:12) Toria: Yeah the star fissure is cool!
(02/22 01:12:12) JStaub: Interesting...can you walk over it? Is it solid?
(02/22 01:12:13) Michael: I'd like to take fireflies with me all over the place. :)
(02/22 01:12:13) Joey Zoonishii: It'd make a nice Relto Page, actually...
(02/22 01:12:15) L'orr: shorah again...CTD'd when JStaub linked in.....what did you do J :)
(02/22 01:12:27) Joey Zoonishii: Well, I can jump into it and go back to the cleft...
(02/22 01:12:31) Toria: shorah
(02/22 01:12:36) Joey Zoonishii: And my cleft book is all weird and black looking...
(02/22 01:12:40) Ivy: wb L'Orr
(02/22 01:12:43) Joey Zoonishii: And it doesn't work...
(02/22 01:12:52) Toria: Yeah!! I recall that from Prologue!
(02/22 01:12:59) L'orr: did we lose GD too...or did he have to leave
(02/22 01:13:08) JStaub: Looks like he bailed
(02/22 01:13:13) Michael: I think GD crashed.
(02/22 01:13:14) Toria: Guess so.
(02/22 01:13:16) Joey Zoonishii: If you wanna go to my Relto and check it out, you can... It would be a humble honor... I guess...
(02/22 01:13:38) Joey Zoonishii: But, I dunno....
(02/22 01:13:39) JStaub: Heheh, unfortunately I'm gonna have to go in few minutes...can I have a raincheck?
(02/22 01:13:54) Joey Zoonishii: =) Yeah, sure, man...
(02/22 01:15:00) L'orr: if anyone can here me...brb...think i'm ghosted
(02/22 01:15:05) Joey Zoonishii: It was just weird is all....
(02/22 01:15:18) Nyrphame Danilaise: shorah!
(02/22 01:15:25) Toria: Shorah
(02/22 01:15:28) Toria waves
(02/22 01:15:32) JStaub: Wow, there's a bunch of people in here...didn't realize there were so many behind me! :)
(02/22 01:15:35) Nyrphame Danilaise: wow busy
(02/22 01:15:38) JStaub: see ya Roland
(02/22 01:15:45) Ivy: a few ghosts here I think :(
(02/22 01:15:48) Joey Zoonishii: S'crawlin' with folks...
(02/22 01:15:51) Tweek: hey kids
(02/22 01:15:56) Nyrphame Danilaise: hi tweek

D'mala Shard

Eben war Marie Sutherland, Mitglied des DRC, in Ae'gura. Sie war nicht sehr lange da. Hab aber ein Bild geschossen und mitgeloggt.

Hier der Log ...

(03/14 22:52:35) Chat.log aktiviert...
(03/14 22:52:38) Marie Sutherland: hello, everyone
(03/14 22:53:06) Rils: hows it goin?
(03/14 22:53:06) Rbnh00d222: How are you doing? I assume you're keeping very busy these days.
(03/14 22:53:06) Jonnee: Shorah, Marie
(03/14 22:53:36) Jonnee: I'll go for a walk, Axel...
(03/14 22:53:40) Rils: drc keeping busy?
(03/14 22:53:58) Marie Sutherland: yes, very busy. I have a meeting in about ten minutes, actually.
(03/14 22:54:20) Rils: That's good. Hows the funding coming?
(03/14 22:54:29) Marie Sutherland: I just wanted to stop by because people are still sending me private messages about the liaisons.
(03/14 22:54:32) An ireenquench: sie hat ein Meeting in 10 min
(03/14 22:54:39) Von ireenquench in DRC Plus (2) Neighborhood: oh mann
(03/14 22:54:46) Rils: we're getting anxious about that!
(03/14 22:55:02) Marie Sutherland: I stopped by a few days ago and had a brief chat with a few people, but it seems the word was not spread effectively.
(03/14 22:55:53) Rils: looking*
(03/14 22:56:02) darkstar: I assume you talking about getting more explorers into the cavern?
(03/14 22:56:04) Marie Sutherland: So I'll attempt to address them again. Apologies that I'm so short on time.
(03/14 22:56:15) Rils: No worries, we understand!
(03/14 22:56:43) darkstar: Start chat log
(03/14 22:56:47) darkstar: Opps
(03/14 22:57:00) Marie Sutherland: timeline - intentionally not set by the DRC. A few weeks or months is fine with us.
(03/14 22:57:14) Rils: I think we're getting close to finishing things up
(03/14 22:57:20) Doris: That's a rather large spread.
(03/14 22:57:37) Axel winkt
(03/14 22:57:50) Rils: true, no hurry?
(03/14 22:58:17) darkstar: a clearer definition of what you your looking would be helpful
(03/14 22:58:30) Marie Sutherland: as far as duties of the liaisons. We're very flexible on those as well.
(03/14 22:58:42) Doris: You have no expectations?
(03/14 22:58:55) Rils: were you thinking more or a messenger role, or something else?
(03/14 22:59:06) Marie Sutherland: The main idea is that they'll be passing on information from the DRC to the explorers, and from the Explorers to the DRC.
(03/14 22:59:30) darkstar: Ok so literally liasons then
(03/14 22:59:40) Rils: sounds reasonable. There is some confusion between "liaison" and "representatives"
(03/14 22:59:57) Marie Sutherland: term limits, and rotation we're leaving in your hands. Again, we're trying to be flexible.
(03/14 23:00:19) Rils: fair enough
(03/14 23:00:30) darkstar: Case of power to the people then in a manner of speaking
(03/14 23:00:39) Doris: If what you are looking for is essentially messengers, why isn't the fourm sufficient for that purpose?
(03/14 23:01:21) Marie Sutherland: Yes. Liaisons. The forums are good for many things, but there are times when a matter...
(03/14 23:01:52) Marie Sutherland: is better to be discussed in real time, and it is difficult to do that in large groups here in the CAvern.
(03/14 23:02:05) Doris: Understood.
(03/14 23:02:13) Ivy: true
(03/14 23:02:15) darkstar: I can see that makes sense
(03/14 23:02:29) Rils: too many voices clog things up!
(03/14 23:02:39) Doris: Are you refering to time sensitive issues or others as well?
(03/14 23:02:54) darkstar: its good that there maybe something to discuss!
(03/14 23:03:00) Marie Sutherland: Thanks again for your patience with us. We're kind of winging things as well at the moment.
(03/14 23:03:16) Rils: No problem. We are too!
(03/14 23:03:28) darkstar: been there done that so we understand how that works
(03/14 23:03:33) Rils: Sometimes we wish we had more to wing on, hopefully this'll help
(03/14 23:04:10) Marie Sutherland: I'll try to return when I have more time, but I do need to be going now.
(03/14 23:04:11) darkstar: well the fat lady aint sung yet
(03/14 23:04:11) Marie Sutherland: sorry.
(03/14 23:04:11) Soosi waves
(03/14 23:04:13) Soosi: Hello all!
(03/14 23:04:14) Rils: no problem, we appreciate your time!
(03/14 23:04:15) Marie Sutherland: take care.
(03/14 23:04:15) Rbnh00d222: Aww. Well come back soon. We all have so many questions.
(03/14 23:04:17) Marie Sutherland waves
(03/14 23:04:21) Rils: you too!
(03/14 23:04:30) darkstar: pLeased to have meet you I look forward to a longer conversation sometime
(03/14 23:04:48) Rils: well, that was helpful
(03/14 23:04:54) darkstar: hope your meeting goes well
(03/14 23:05:03) ...Chat.log gestoppt.

Shorah!

Was denkt ihr?
